Chamber Music: Mini Quartet Studies

Short pieces will be performed live by one of our string quartets and professional feedback will be given.

Your piece should be roughly 1 minute long and be scored for two violins, viola, and cello. To allow for a smooth-running event and to make it work for our string quartet, who will be sight reading, please be conscious of difficulty of the music.

Whether you are an experienced composer or you have never composed anything before this is a fantastic opportunity to hear your music played live! If you are unsure of how to notate your music, Musescore is a fantastic free music notation software, other options such as Sibelius are also available (very neat handwritten scores also allowed).
