Celebrating 350 years of Heinrich Schütz (1585-1672)

This year, the University's Early Modern Vocal Ensemble will be performing the music of Heinrich Schütz in celebration of the 350th year of his death. Our concert will feature his vocal chamber pieces, including those from his Musikalische Exequiem (1635), a funeral service written for Henry II of Reuß, Count of Gera (1572-1635).
