The University of Birmingham Jazz Orchestra and special guest artist, Sara Colman, perform brand new arrangements from the plethora of music that has inspired Sara's career to date. The programme incorporates artists and influences from different musical genres – freshly arranged for the ensemble – and the evening will also feature the debut outing for the Jazz Orchestra Choir, expanding the 20-strong ensemble with a 6-piece vocal group. Talented musicians from the Music Society Jazz Collective complete this eclectic line-up in collaboration with Sara, focussing on small group improvisation and vocal led performance.
