Gospel Revisited brings Gospel music to the major concert venues and performance spaces in the region, encouraging new audiences to discover the vast wealth of the Gospel music, and bringing together musicians from a variety of backgrounds, sharing music practice across many genres. This performance combines the vision of project leader Ray Prince, the band and vocalists of the Gospel Revisited Project, guest vocalists, and the talents of the University of Birmingham’s Symphony Orchestra. With expertly orchestrated music from the pen of the University’s Director of Jazz Performance/Gospel Revisited Musical Director, Jonathan Silk, this gig promises to have you singing and dancing from your seat!
