About the Event
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
All students are welcome to sign-up for this exciting opportunity, regardless of experience – however, for the avoidance of doubt, these sessions are aimed at students who play BRASS, WIND, and PERCUSSION instruments.
In order to get involved, please sign-up by writing directly to the University Music team (universitymusichub@contacts.bham.ac.uk) with your name, instrument, and which session(s) you’d like to sign up for. You will be required to be print off your own music for these sessions (or use a tablet), with more details available as below.
WHEN?
There will be two Wind Repertoire sessions with Daniele Rosina this semester, as follows:
- Wednesday 12 October 2022 (1815-1915) [Tchaikovsky – Symphony No. 4; first movement]
- Wednesday 9 November 2022 (1815-1915) [Brahms – Academic Festival Overture, Op. 80]
Both sessions are scheduled directly after Philharmonic Orchestra rehearsals, and will be held in The Dome.
