Our Composition Competition is now open! The competition will be judged by Professor Michael Zev Gordon. If you are interested in entering, please submit a short piece, between 6-10 minutes long that is suitable for your chosen ensemble. Entries can be submitted to the Music Office (Ground Floor, Bramall Music Building) or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org (in PDF form) by 12:00 midday on Friday the 27th of September 2019. Please make sure that your score is neat and clear and remember to include the entry form attached to your email when submitting your composition. An overall winner will then be selected, and their composition will be performed in the Spring Term. The winner will also receive a certificate and be named on the website. A Highly Commended prize may also be awarded to up to two additional compositions – these may also have the opportunity to be performed.
